WHO IS JACOB?

Jacob Ortiz is a postgraduate student at the University of the Arts London. Enrolled in MA Media, Communications, and Critical Practice, Jacob’s research and creative content focus on the impacts and depth of media in society.

Raised in Los Angeles, Jacob is no stranger to the ever-present and oversaturated nature of media. From billboards to Instagram to music videos, Jacob’s lived experiences as a 22-year-old have grown alongside the ever-changing landscape of communications. Now at the London College of Communication, Jacob’s entanglement in media continues this time with questions and a renewed purpose.
